Jason Vander Veen, Msc PT, BscHons, MCPA, Registered Physiotherapist
Jason received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Health in 2005, followed by a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2008. Prior to joining Wellington Ortho and Rehab he worked in Fergus seeing a diverse population at an orthopaedic clinic. Jason has completed several acupuncture courses as well as having an interest in orthopedics and is currently working through his advanced manual therapy courses. Jason has a special interest in vestibular issues and the assessment and treatment of sports related injuries.
Esther Wood, Physical Therapist
Esther completed her studies at the University of Guelph in Human Kinetics (BSc) and McMaster University in Physiotherapy in 2008 (MSc). She has been working in Guelph since her graduation and has continued to take numerous courses in areas of manual therapy, athlete rehabilitation, acupuncture, and hand injuries. Outside of work she enjoys being physically active and music. Esther’s goal is to use her skills to assist and empower each of her clients in attaining their highest level of physical function.
Cherie Mabey
Cherie has been practicing at the clinic since 1998 and been a clinic owner since 2001. Cherie graduated from Queen’s University in physiotherapy in 1997 after completing a degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick. Cherie has completed numerous post-graduate training courses in manual therapy, exercise therapy and acupuncture. Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, Cherie now lives just outside Guelph with her husband, Shane, and their four children.
Aubrey Holmes, Physical Therapist Aubrey graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a BSc in Kinesiology in 2008. She then graduated with her masters in physiotherapy from Queen’s University in 2010. Aubrey continues her education with post-graduate courses in orthopaedic manual therapy and acupuncture. Originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Aubrey joined the Wellington Ortho and Rehab team in January 2011.
